Diamonds, a Berkshire Hathaway company is looking for a 
Marketing Operations Manager.  T he  Marketing Operations Manager  leads advertising and
marketing projects throughout the development, approval and delivery
stages.  Projects include working with localized and national campaigns,
promotional programs, and deployment of media.  Projects can be individual
store promotion or e-commerce initiatives.  Projects may maybe designed
for digital/electronic delivery, or they may be email, and direct mail
oriented.  The Marketing Operations Manager oversees the launch, planning,
development, execution and the analysis of performance analytics for campaigns,
promotions, and brand launches.

Individuals who have
held Traffic Coordinator or Traffic Manager positions within advertising
agencies or marketing consulting firms would have the most relevant job experience
we seek.  Helzberg Diamonds is constantly creating campaigns to enhance
the promotion of particular jewelry items, promote the overall brand or
particular stores, and promote the sale of jewelry during specific times of the
year.  It is common for the Marketing Dept. and the Marketing Operations
Manager to be planning and scheduling multiple campaigns months in advance of
release while at the same time monitoring the execution of campaigns that are


  • "Times New Roman"">Marketing Programs:  Oversee successful launch,
    planning, development, execution, and performance analytics for Marketing
    campaigns, promotions, and brand launches.

  • "Times New Roman"">Project Management / Change Management:  Lead
    setup, implementation, launch and enhancements for all Workfront –
    Marketing Project Management system efforts.  Recognize and identify
    process gaps and lead team through streamlining efforts.  Lead
    Marketing team, internal and external partners through process changes to
    best serve the continuous evolution of Marketing execution and business

  • "Times New Roman"">People Management:  Lead Marketing teams through
    project milestones for campaigns, retail programs, promotions and
    events.  Work with VP, CMO, Merchandising Management and Store
    Operations to prioritize review and approvals of Marketing campaign
    promotions and materials.

  • "Times New Roman"">External Agency Management:  Direct and manage
    workflow and priorities for external creative and strategic agency
    partners.  Oversee all Marketing efforts to ensure continuity in
    execution from internal and external teams.

  • "Times New Roman"">Analytics and Risk Management:  Capture
    performance analytics and summarize promotional execution.  Control
    risk by leveraging historical analytical data as influence for future

  • "Times New Roman"">Collaboration and Communication:  Effectively
    communicate Marketing priorities with cross-functional business partners,
    freelancers, external agencies and suppliers.  Balance priorities
    from multiple teams to ensure successful deployment, on time and within

    Develop and maintain centralized documentation of product features for all
    marketing creative projects.  Oversee required approvals from
    Marketing and Merchandising partners and monitor communication of change
    notifications to appropriate teams.

  • "Times New Roman"">Retail: Partner with mall marketing in key segments to
    coordinate and leverage a presence in email mall lists, mall websites,
    online club promotions, social media, mall advertising, and special
    events.  Manage promo codes to support Marketing offers .


  • "Times New Roman"">Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or
    business with strong analytic and quantitative skills and a minimum of
    five years of experience in retail or consumer marketing including
    advertising, promotions, CRM, and digital, or an equivalent combination of
    education and experience.  Traffic Management experience within an
    advertising agency or marketing consultant firm preferred.

    management, including utilizing web project management tools.

    decision-making skills and attention to detail.  Preference given to
    candidates with Workfront experience.

    demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.
