POSITION SUMMARY: The position of Project Coordinator within the Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO) will support the implementation of Helzberg’s projects tied to their corporate strategy development. This position will help improve efficiencies on various projects by providing assistance with meeting key milestones and timelines, introduce new initiatives to save Helzberg money and time and ensure that projects and initiatives are documented and assist with project communication across the organization. A project coordinator focuses on the short- and long-term success of a project's goals by managing day-to-day activities and coordinating with the business leaders and stakeholders.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Provide support for multiple high priority strategic projects including:

  • Project planning and scheduling
    • Provide oversight to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in scope and the project objectives are met. Communication and stakeholder management
  • Communicate updates and partner with stakeholders on project decisions and direction.
    • Resource coordination and management  End-to-end project coordination of select cross-functional projects and initiatives.
    • Coordinate resources between multiple projects within the ePMO to ensure each initiative is supported in alignment with overall business strategic goals.
  • Monitoring, reporting, and administrative support  Track, measure and report on project status and progress.
2. Offer consultative support to lower level projects.
3. Share feedback and insights to drive consistency and continuous improvement in the ePMO process.


QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, project management, or a related field OR Equivalent experience. • Experience
  • 3+ years of project coordination or 1-2 years of project management experience. This includes hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Experience in retail (specialty and/or luxury) is preferred.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with team members, stakeholders, and clients. •
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to organize, multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze information, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
  • Technology Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, etc.) is preferred.
• Hybrid schedule with predictable onsite attendance required three or more days per week to perform essential functions involving interactive behaviors with co-workers and managers, operation or manipulation of equipment and/or materials located only on site, and direct interaction with internal and/or external customers.
