Helzberg Diamonds is looking for 4-5 individuals to join our regular internal fulfillment staff as Seasonal Internet Order Processor to help us keep up with customer demand during our busy season. These are fulltime temporary positions that are available through the end of the year.

A seasonal bonus of $25 per week paid on each regular pay period will be provided plus if you stay through the end of the holiday season you will receive an additional bonus of $25 for each week worked. (Example: If hired and you work 10 weeks, you'll have been paid the $250 weekly payments plus staying through the end of 2023 you'll receive an additional $250.)

As you can imagine jewelry is a very popular gift item, and our business starts to pick up this time of year and really gets busy by the time we hit November and December. To keep up with customer internet orders our Order Processors put in full days. Standard hours until Thanksgiving are M - F, 8a-5p but beginning the week of Thanksgiving the hours will increase to 7:30a-5:00p with some weekend hours (Sat or Sunday from 8a-3p) as business increases. The pace is fast but this is a great opportunity to earn extra cash for the holidays.

As an Internet Order Processor you'll spend a great deal of time on you feet assembling orders, packaging them, and then positioning them for shipment. Orders must be fulfilled precisely and attention to detail is crucial. From verifying that each piece of jewelry has been correctly picked out of inventory to packaging items for timely shipping, you are the behind the scene stars that make special holiday moments possible.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma. Experience working in distribution, purchase order fulfillment, or in an environment that required shipping items that have similar properties and characteristics as jewelry is preferred.
• Must be able to read and follow precise written instructions and shipping orders accurately.
• Must be able to spend extended periods of time standing, walking, and sitting depending upon the specific stage of the shipping process that needs to be performed.
• Must be able to work standard Mon. to Friday day shift, plus be available to work increasing amounts of overtime the closer we get to the end of Dec. Mandatory overtime will include working some Saturdays and Sundays - including the weekends leading into, and after major holidays.
• Must be able to occasionally move and handle boxes that can weigh up to 25 pounds.
• Associates are prohibited from wearing any metal on their clothes or jewelry, including smartwatches and all phones, to ensure a metal-free work environment in accordance with safety regulations.
• Regular, predictable onsite attendance is required to perform the essential functions involving interacting with co-workers and managers, as well as the operation of equipment and/or materials located only on site.
