At Helzberg Diamonds the Customer Data & MarTech Director is responsible for leading the strategy of customer data capture, architecture within marketing technology, and advancing the accessibility and usage of customer data to inform marketing campaigns. The Customer Data & MarTech Director will be tasked with growing the number and effectiveness of triggered marketing campaigns, increasing the accessibility of customer data across marketing channels and reporting tools, and increasing the ROI of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CDP. This role will lead a team of internal and external partners across departments at Helzberg to capture the right data, map data to the appropriate channels, and enable reporting for continuous learning and optimization.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Ensure that the Salesforce CDP and Market Cloud platforms have the appropriate customer, product, and interaction data required to build best-in-class marketing triggers and campaigns.
• Oversee execution of new Marketing triggers and customer journey campaigns for accuracy and optimization.
• Grow the email & SMS databases and increase personalization within each channel.
• Partner with IT on customer data privacy and compliance.
• Automate routine marketing processes and build functionality that reduces reliance on IT resources for common marketing campaigns.
• Lead Marketing team in developing Tableau online reports to be leveraged across company departments.
• Research and recommend new marketing technology products.
• Design and manage internal workflows and processes.
• Train and support marketing staff in their use of marketing technology products.
• Responsible for budgeting for marketing technology and operating products as an administrator.
• Monitor data quality within marketing technology products.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or other related degree.
• 7 or more years of experience in customer data and Marketing technology. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• 5+ or more years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud required
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to find creative solutions to common customer data and MarTech problems.
• Good business writing & presentation skills - ability to document and communicate technical requirements in an understandable and actionable way.
• A passion for digging into information and solving technical problems.
• Hybrid schedule with predictable onsite attendance required three or more days per week to perform essential functions involving interactive behaviors with co-workers and managers, operation, or manipulation of equipment and/or materials located only on site, and direct interaction with internal and/or external customers.
