POSITION SUMMARY:
The Brand Marketing Coordinator supports the Helzberg Diamonds Brand, Creative & Communications organization. This is an entry-level role that supports tactical implementation of quarterly planning, content, social, PR and creative approval flows and execution. This highly collaborative role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, strong listening and problem-solving skills and a drive and curiosity to learn and grow in the marketing discipline as they build this foundational experience.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate across brand, creative and communications, and across Performance Marketing team, to establish and manage milestones to keep projects and processes moving.
  • Support Brand Managers on timeline/scheduling coordination with outside partners (i.e. Radio production).
  • Set up POs and receives invoices with Oracle for Brand, Communications and Creative.
  • Secure and tracks User Generated Content rights as needed.
  • Support department on smaller programs as needed and as growth opportunity (i.e. Virtual Selling).
  • Support Brand Managers throughout Retail Calendar process, synthesizing decks, creating templates and sharing out information with cross-functional teams.
  • Support organization on compiling concept and assets decks needed to secure approvals from, and/or to socialize, content and strategies with rest of organization as internal/external needs arise.
  • Manage Teams channels for Retail Calendar process, ensuring all documents are present from necessary parties across Brand, Creative and Merchandising.
  • Work with Brand Mangers on agendas & summaries for 2x/week Marketing Forum, Merchandising + Marketing weekly meetings, product priority meetings, etc.
  • Support Brand Managers on organic social content as needed (i.e. facilitating product check-out for content shoots, soliciting employee stories, etc.).
  • Conduct and compile platform and competitive research as requested.
  • Source, ship and ensure safe return of product for shoots, influencers and content creation, coordinating with Loss Prevention, Merchandising and Customer Care as needed.
    • Add all influencer and product details into influencer product tracking sheet as required by Finance Team.
    • Provide product shipment tracking to production agency.
  • Upload videos/video species into YouTube and adjust title copy as well as subtitles throughout that are auto-generated by the platform.
  • Send raw video links from agency and/or setup moments in Opal for videos/images that need to be edited for paid.
  • Assist with execution and/or support for local and internal events as needed.
  • Back-up role for creative trafficking function.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent does not have any direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Advertising.
  • 1-3 years marketing experience preferred though exposure/experience to brand, marketing or operations roles through internships or college jobs will be considered.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Curious self-starter with strong collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google office suites; aptitude to learn and use new marketing technology tools like Opal, Adobe, Pixlee, Workfront, etc.
  • Hybrid schedule with predictable onsite attendance required three or more days per week to perform essential functions involving interactive behaviors with co-workers and managers, operation, or manipulation of equipment and/or materials located only onsite, and direct interaction with internal and/or external customers.
