POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lead Data Analyst provides support and analysis for enterprise data projects by delivering data-driven solutions for end-users including developing dashboards, analytical-ready ad hoc user data, and training users on the available tools. The solutions will allow users to utilize the data visualization tools and to analyze the business and make informed decisions. This position works with users from various departments regarding data and reporting issues. This position is also responsible for performing data analysis, data mapping, data integration, and data quality activities for the Shared Insights team.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
  • Build, maintain and automate reports and dashboards that provide insights which can be used to build actionable plans to further contribute to core business objectives.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity and completeness of data used for analysis and reporting and aid business users to ensure all information being produced is complete and accurate.
  • Present findings and actionable insights to cross-functional teams to guide business decisions and strategies.
  • Prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time. Manage task and project status in designated management tools (i.e. Monday.com, JIRA, etc.).
  • Work under general guidance and self-start to meet project requirements and timelines.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
  • 3+ years of experience designing, modeling and implementing end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions with Tableau or similar data visualization tool.
  • Intermediate level of SQL knowledge & experience with relational databases.
  • Strong understanding of database structures, data solutions for BI tools, and data quality.
  • General knowledge of data visualization and analytics best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required or 5 years equivalent experience.
  • Three to Five years of increasingly responsible experience in the information technology field, and some experience with business intelligence related toolsets (end-user tools, data modeling).
  • Strongly prefer experience within a multi-unit retail environment.
  • Solid communication and facilitation skills are required to work with vendors and non-technical end-users.
  • Hybrid schedule with predictable onsite attendance required three or more days per week to perform essential functions involving interactive behaviors with co-workers and managers, operation or manipulation of equipment and/or materials located only on site, and direct interaction with internal and/or external customers.
