POSITION SUMMARY:
The Digital Designer, Email specializes in creating visually engaging and high-performing email designs that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. This role focuses on developing responsive and user-friendly email templates, crafting layouts that drive engagement and conversions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive campaigns. The designer ensures every email maintains a consistent brand identity while leveraging best practices for layout, typography, and imagery to optimize readability and click-through rates. By staying updated on email design trends, tools, and innovations, the designer contributes to continuous improvements in the effectiveness and aesthetics of email creative and marketing efforts.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Design and develop engaging email campaigns that align with the brand’s tone, visual identity, and performance marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with the Creative and Performance Marketing team to translate campaign briefs into visually appealing email designs.
  • Work closely with copywriters to ensure that design and content flow harmoniously and enhance user engagement.
  • Strong ability to follow seasonal campaign style guides and translate into various digital assets.
  • Optimize designs for mobile and desktop email clients, ensuring responsiveness and accessibility.
  • Implement A/B testing and iterate on designs based on performance insights and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Work with outside partners to maintain and update email templates within Figma.
  • Ensure design consistency across various channels
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in email design, and digital design best practices.
  • Assist in other digital design tasks as needed, such as web banners, digital signage, social media graphics, and paid ad designs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in digital design, with a focus on email design.
  • Proficiency in design software including Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) required.
  • A portfolio showcasing your experience in email design and other digital assets is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to take direction and adapt to feedback.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS, for collaborating with developers.
  • Hybrid schedule with predictable onsite attendance required three or more days per week to perform essential functions involving interactive behaviors with co-workers and managers, operation or manipulation of equipment and/or materials located only on site, and direct interaction with internal and/or external customers.
